AC Maintenance

Maintenance

When you buy a new air conditioning system from Nocria, we offer our three-year planned maintenance programme as standard, and can also provide maintenance services for existing aircon installations.

In either case, we would always highly recommend arranging scheduled maintenance to keep your air conditioning system in good working order, rather than taking a reactionary approach to repairing breakdowns only after they occur.

Pre-emptive maintenance doesn’t just prevent total breakdowns; it also keeps AC systems running at maximum efficiency and provides peace of mind that they are more likely to cope with the demands of the hottest and busiest days of the year.

Benefits of regular maintenance

Planned maintenance schedules take a proactive approach to identifying and tackling issues before they impair the efficiency of your aircon systems.

This has multiple benefits including:

  • Troubleshooting potential problems.
  • Improving overall system reliability.
  • Extending usable lifespan.
  • Keeping units visibly clean and hygienic.
  • Reducing costs on emergency repairs.
  • Improving energy efficiency.
  • Minimising environmental impact.
  • Following manufacturer recommendations.

Regular maintenance should include detailed checks on the health of your AC units especially ahead of peak times, for example as summer approaches for cooling systems or in the run-up to Christmas for retail AC systems.

AC refrigerant leakage checks

Aircon refrigerant and coolant gases must not be allowed to leak, and legislation demands that permanently installed AC units are checked based on how much refrigerant gas they contain to detect any potential leakage.

Nocria have the expertise to do this to the necessary standard and provide the appropriate documentation to prove that you have met your legislated maintenance obligations.

We can also put together a bespoke planned maintenance schedule for all of your aircon units, large or small, so contact us with any queries about your precise needs.
